    Tuesday 24 May, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall was in Rabat at the invitation of Abdellatif Loudiyi, Morocco’s Minister Delegate to the Head of Government for the administration of National Defence, whose remit covers space affairs. The meeting, also attended by Zakaria Moudden, Director of the Royal Centre for Space Studies and Research (CRERS), and Driss El Hadani, Director of the Royal Centre for Remote Sensing (CRTS), reviewed progress on the framework agreement signed on 28 May 2015 in Paris and implementation of the New Delhi Declaration ahead of the COP22 to be held in November in Marrakesh.

  2. French-Moroccan space cooperation CNES and Morocco’s space institutions commence cooperation

    CNES and Morocco’s Royal Centre for Remote Sensing (CRTS) and Royal Centre for Space Studies and Research (CRERS) met on Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 September in Rabat to define areas of cooperation resulting from the framework agreement signed on 28 May. CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall then joined the agency’s delegation to review progress on discussions between the three institutions.
