    Installed on the International Space Station in September 2009, the DECLIC instrument developed by CNES has returned its first results. Thanks to DECLIC, scientists have determined the precise temperature at which water becomes supercritical water.

    Installé à bord de la Station Spatiale Internationale en septembre 2009, l'instrument DECLIC développé par le CNES vient de livrer ses 1ers résultats. Grâce à lui, les scientifiques ont pu repérer à quelle température l'eau se transforme en eau supercritique.

  5. CNES-CEA coordination committee meeting

    Wednesday 25 November, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall and Daniel Verwaerde, Administrator General of CEA, the French atomic energy and alternative energies commission, were at CNES’s Head Office for a meeting of the coordination committee set up under the framework agreement the two agencies signed at the start of this year. The goal is to step up their cooperation in science and technology.
